Hot Wheels collectors have a fresh convenience-store chase on their hands: a 7-Eleven-branded 2017 Nissan GT-R priced at $7.11.

Mashable reports that 7-Eleven has teamed with Mattel for the second year on an exclusive Hot Wheels release, this time putting the 2017 Nissan GT-R (R35) into the spotlight.

The die-cast collectible is available now at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores, according to the report. It is also being sold online through 7Collection while supplies last.

The car is a 1:64-scale model of Nissan’s performance coupe, finished in white and marked with 7-Eleven branding on the hood and sides, according to product details cited by Mashable.

The release is part of Hot Wheels’ Silver Series, which the report says includes added detailing compared with the brand’s standard cars. The model also comes in 7-Eleven-themed packaging designed for the collaboration.

Where to find it

The collectible is being sold in person only at participating locations across three 7-Eleven-owned banners: 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes. Mashable reports that online buyers can also find it through 7Collection.

The listed price is $7.11, a neat little nod to the retailer’s name. Availability is limited, and the product is being offered only while supplies last.

Why collectors may care

The Nissan GT-R (R35) is one of Nissan’s best-known performance cars, and Hot Wheels has given this version a full convenience-store makeover for the collaboration.

For display-minded collectors, the packaging is part of the pitch. Mashable reports that the car arrives in exclusive 7-Eleven-themed carding, pairing the die-cast model with branding tied to the retailer.

There may be more 7-Eleven collectibles coming after this GT-R. According to Mashable, 7-Eleven says a larger run of limited-edition merchandise is expected to arrive soon.

No additional release date or product list for that expanded merchandise collection was included in the report.
