Ariana Grande has turned a makeup promo into a quick trip through Hogwarts, using a TikTok on R.E.M. Beauty’s account to perform a run of Harry Potter character voices while searching for her brand’s blur butter.

The clip, posted by Grande’s beauty line, casts the Wicked actress as several familiar figures from the film franchise. The bit is built around one question: where did the blur butter go?

Grande opens as Molly Weasley, the character played in the movies by Julie Walters. In the video, she reworks Molly’s famous Deathly Hallows line into a very different battle cry, asking, “Where’s my blur butter, you bitch?”

From there, Grande moves to Ron Weasley. Her version riffs on a moment from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, with the singer saying, “Not me, not my blur butter balm. Where is it, Hermione?”

Dobby gets a full product-centered makeover too. In the clip, Grande says in the house-elf voice that Dobby wants to know where his blur butter is, before announcing that Dobby has been given the blur butter and is now free.

The Hogwarts roll call

The R.E.M. Beauty video does not stop with the Weasley household and Dobby. Grande also takes on Severus Snape, the character played by Alan Rickman, and Bellatrix Lestrange, played in the films by Helena Bonham Carter.

Rolling Stone highlighted Grande’s Moaning Myrtle as one of the standout impressions in the clip. In that part, Grande imitates the character played by Shirley Henderson and says, “Harry, someone came in here the other day and waited for all the bubbles to pop.”

The video wraps with Grande moving into Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, the central characters played in the films by Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.

The post’s own caption frames the whole thing as a Harry Potter edition of “where’s my blur butter?” The TikTok also uses a Harry Potter-style orchestral track credited on the platform to nAKAmoo.

Grande’s impression habit keeps paying off

Grande has long made impressions part of her TV appearances, including on Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show. The Harry Potter clip adds fictional characters to a list that has also included real singers and celebrities.

One of those past impressions apparently made quite an impression on Celine Dion. Frankie Grande told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that Dion once approached him in Las Vegas after Ariana Grande had impersonated her on Fallon’s show.

According to Frankie Grande’s account, Dion told him to pass along that she laughed so hard at Ariana’s impression that she peed herself. He said Dion repeated the point while describing her reaction to the bit.

For R.E.M. Beauty, the Hogwarts routine keeps the focus on blur butter while giving fans a fresh batch of Grande voices to pick apart, replay and rank.
