Ariana Grande Petal vinyl is now being sold in a stack of color variants, giving fans of her new album a proper collector scramble across Amazon, Target, Urban Outfitters, indie shops and her official store.
Petal is Grande’s eighth studio album and her first full-length project of original material since 2024’s Eternal Sunshine, according to Rolling Stone. The album arrived after the single “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” which Rolling Stone reported reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Rolling Stone characterized Petal as Grande’s angriest album so far. In its review, the magazine said the new record has a looser, more immediate feel than Eternal Sunshine and its expanded edition, Brighter Days Ahead.
Where can you buy Ariana Grande Petal vinyl?
Rolling Stone listed several versions of Petal on vinyl, with different colors tied to specific stores. The standard edition and exclusives are priced in the low-$30 range in the listings cited by the magazine.
- Amazon exclusive: “Pavement Marble” vinyl, listed at $32.99.
- Urban Outfitters exclusive: “Ivory storm” vinyl, listed at $34.99.
- Target exclusive: “Gray skies” vinyl, listed at $32.99.
- Standard edition at Barnes & Noble: “Pearly white” vinyl, listed at $31.99.
- Official Ariana Grande store exclusive: “Cloudy gray girl” vinyl, listed at $32.99.
- Indie exclusive at Turntable Lab: “Classic white” vinyl, listed at $32.95.
The rollout is not limited to vinyl. Rolling Stone also reported that Petal is available on CD and cassette, widening the menu for fans who still like their pop albums with shelf space.
What is on the Petal packaging?
Grande showed the standard vinyl edition on TikTok, according to Rolling Stone. The packaging includes photography by Katia Temkin, a frequent Grande collaborator.
The gatefold features a nighttime image of Grande in a park with eight rabbits around her, Rolling Stone reported. Grande said on TikTok that the rabbits appeared on their own, and the number lines up with her eight albums.
Rolling Stone also reported that several variant covers use additional Temkin photos, giving the different editions more than just a color swap.
Is Ariana Grande touring Petal?
Grande is currently on the sold-out Eternal Sunshine tour, not a tour billed around Petal, according to Rolling Stone. The North American leg is scheduled to finish Aug. 6 at the United Center in Chicago.
After that, Grande is set for 10 nights at London’s O2 Arena. Rolling Stone noted that her current tour marks her return to full touring after her last full run in 2019, and said the set has leaned heavily on Eternal Sunshine rather than the new record or older catalog cuts.
