Netflix is casting amateur darts players to face Luke Littler live on Oct. 30, with a £501,000 prize pot on the line.

Netflix is turning “beat Luke Littler” into a live darts challenge, inviting amateur players to apply for a shot at the 19-year-old English champion in a streamed match on Oct. 30.
The streamer announced the casting call on X on Monday, directing would-be challengers to beatlukelittler.com. The event carries a listed prize pot of £501,000, or about $667,189.
Littler is described in the casting push as a record-breaking player and the youngest world champion in darts history. The planned Netflix match puts a pub-game fantasy on a global screen: one amateur, one elite opponent, and a lot of pressure at the oche.
How can you apply to beat Luke Littler on Netflix?
Applicants can register through Netflix’s casting page, which asks hopefuls to explain why they think they could beat Littler. The form also asks for a darts nickname, or what a player’s nickname would be.
The rules narrow the field. Applicants must be over 12, and anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. They also need to legally live in the UK or be able to travel there for production.
There is one major no-go for anyone with elite credentials: applicants cannot have ever held a Professional Darts Corporation Tour Card. In other words, Netflix is looking for amateurs rather than established tour professionals.
The Oct. 30 match is set to stream live on Netflix. The company has been adding more live programming, including WWE, football, concerts and boxing, as streamers compete for events viewers want to watch in the moment.
Apple, Amazon and Disney+ have also been putting attention on live sports streaming, making Netflix’s darts stunt part of a wider fight for appointment viewing. A one-night contest against Littler gives the streamer a tidy hook: a young champion, a public casting call and a prize pot big enough to make even casual players check their aim.
Littler’s recent form gives applicants plenty to think about. Sky Sports reported that he defended his World Matchplay title in Blackpool, England, in July 2026, beating Gerwyn Price 18-9 with a record-breaking display.
For anyone convinced their local-board dominance can survive the bright lights, Netflix’s application is open through the dedicated event site. The key question on the form says it plainly: why do you think you could beat Luke Littler?
