Formula 1 fans hunting for a no-cost Belgian GP stream have a few trial-window tricks on the table, with Mashable pointing readers first to Apple TV through Prime Video Channels.

The pitch is straightforward: sign up for a seven-day Apple TV trial via Prime Video Channels, watch select F1 races through the Prime Video app, then cancel before the paid renewal if you do not want to keep the subscription.

Why Apple TV is the key

Mashable reports that F1 is exclusive to Apple TV in the U.S., making access to Apple’s streaming service the essential piece for American viewers trying to catch races this season.

According to Mashable, Apple TV through Prime Video Channels currently offers a seven-day free trial. After that, the subscription is listed at £9.99 per month, with cancellation available before renewal.

There is one extra layer for viewers using Amazon’s route. Mashable notes that Amazon Prime itself has a 30-day free trial for new subscribers, which can be used to reach Prime Video and then add the Apple TV Prime Video Channel trial.

Belgian GP weekend schedule

The Belgian GP is listed by Mashable as the 10th race of the 2026 F1 season, taking place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

Mashable published the following race-weekend timings in Eastern time:

  • Practice 1: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. ET on July 17
  • Practice 1: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET on July 17
  • Practice 1: 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. ET on July 18
  • Qualifying: 10 to 11 a.m. ET on July 18
  • Race: 9 a.m. ET on July 19

Other free-trial routes

For viewers who have already used the Prime Video Channels route, Mashable also points to signing up directly with Apple TV. New subscribers can get a seven-day free trial, according to the report.

Another option is Apple One, which bundles Apple TV with Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness Plus, Apple News Plus and 50GB of iCloud storage. Mashable lists Apple One at $19.95 per month after a one-month free trial.

The longest Apple TV offer mentioned by Mashable comes with eligible new Apple device purchases. New subscribers can receive three months of Apple TV at no charge after buying an eligible Apple product, the report says.

The racing picture

Mashable frames the Belgian GP as part of an odd F1 season shaped by new regulations and unpredictable weekends, while noting that only four race winners from two teams have emerged so far.

The report points to Kimi Antonelli, Ferrari, Verstappen and the McLaren drivers as names and teams to watch around Spa, with Ferrari coming off wins at the Barcelona-Catalunya GP and British GP.

For fans, the practical takeaway is less dramatic than a late safety car but still useful: the Belgian GP can be watched without an immediate payment if the viewer qualifies for one of the free trials and cancels before billing starts.
