A Galaxy Z Flip 8 case deal has landed just days after Samsung’s newest flip phone made its debut: Mashable reports that Amazon has the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 Flipsuit Phone Case marked down to $41.99 as of July 27.
The case normally lists for $59.99, according to Mashable, so the current Amazon price takes $18 off the tag. That works out to a 30% discount on an accessory built for Samsung’s just-announced foldable.

The timing is the hook. Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy Z Flip 8 at its Unpacked event in London on July 22, according to Mashable. The new model is 13% thinner than last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 7, Mashable reported.
What does the Galaxy Z Flip 8 Flipsuit case do?
The Flipsuit case is more than a shell for the phone. According to Mashable, users can double-tap the cover screen to activate FlexWindow and play Brick Breaker without opening the device.
The game is controlled from the outside of the phone, with the player tilting the handset side to side to move the paddle, Mashable reported. That makes the case part protection, part toy, and part show-off accessory for Samsung’s foldable crowd.
The flashier feature is the interchangeable LED Flipsuit Card. Mashable says inserting the card triggers LED lights on the case that sync with visuals and animations, giving the back of the phone a more animated look than a standard protective cover.
There is also a photo frame card option, according to Mashable. That lets owners show one of their own photos on the FlexWindow while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is closed.
The deal is being positioned for shoppers who have already pre-ordered the new Flip or plan to buy one after the London Unpacked reveal. Mashable’s listing points readers to Amazon for the discounted Flipsuit case.
