Haylou has introduced the Watch Hyper, a new smartwatch aimed at buyers who want navigation and fitness tools without paying several hundred dollars for a GPS watch.
The device is priced at $85, and Haylou is applying a $9.01 preorder discount at checkout, bringing the current price to $75.99. The company has not provided a date in the available deal information for when that launch discount ends.
Navigation is the main pitch
Haylou says the Watch Hyper uses L1 and L5 dual-band GPS, a setup designed to improve positioning accuracy in places where location tracking can get messy, including dense streets and outdoor trails.
The watch also includes offline maps, full-color topographic maps and route backtracking, according to Haylou. That means users can check map data and retrace a route without relying on a cellular connection.
Those features put the Watch Hyper in the same conversation as pricier outdoor-focused smartwatches, though Haylou is pitching this model as a lower-cost option for people who move between daily city use and outdoor activity.
Big screen, lots of workout modes
The Watch Hyper has a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with adaptive brightness, according to the company. Haylou says that screen setup is intended to keep the watch readable in bright outdoor conditions.
On the fitness side, the device supports more than 170 sports modes. Haylou says it also offers smart workout detection, VO₂ Max estimates, personal training goals and workout insights driven by the company’s Sevier motion algorithm.
The feature list keeps going beyond exercise. Haylou says the watch supports Bluetooth calling, voice-to-text messaging, WhatsApp quick replies for Android users and an offline AI voice assistant.
Battery claims and water resistance
Battery life is another headline spec. Haylou says the Watch Hyper can run for up to 24 days on one charge under standard use, or up to 16 hours when GPS is used continuously.
The watch is also rated at 5ATM for water resistance, according to Haylou. That rating is commonly used for devices designed to handle water exposure, though Haylou’s available preorder information does not provide additional durability details.
For now, the Watch Hyper is being offered at the $75.99 preorder price through Haylou, down from its listed $85 price. Buyers looking at budget GPS watches get the key pitch in one package: offline maps, route backtracking, dual-band GPS, a large AMOLED screen and a long battery-life claim.
