Lil Wayne, Karol G, Smashing Pumpkins and David Guetta are headed for the sidewalk: the Hollywood Walk of Fame 2027 class will add 32 new stars across entertainment categories, according to the Walk of Fame Selection Committee.
The music lineup is stacked. The committee said Linkin Park, Sia, the Ramones, Grandmaster Flash and Marc Shaiman are also set to be honored in the Recording category. Waylon Jennings will receive a posthumous star.
Who is getting a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2027?
The newly announced class spans music, film, television, radio and live performance. The stars will be added along Hollywood Boulevard, the committee said, continuing the long-running public tribute to figures in entertainment.
In motion pictures, the 2027 honorees include Cheech & Chong, Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Kate Hudson, Idris Elba, Delroy Lindo, Sam Rockwell and Netflix executive Ted Sarandos, according to the announcement.
The television category includes Pedro Pascal, Adam Scott, Lisa Kudrow and Keke Palmer, among others named by the Walk of Fame team.
Charlamagne tha God is set to receive a star in the Radio category. Nicole Scherzinger, known for her work with the Pussycat Dolls and on stage, will be recognized in the Live Theatre/Live Performance category.
What did the Walk of Fame committee say?
Peter Roth, chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, said in a statement that the committee was pleased to welcome the 2027 class to what he described as one of entertainment’s lasting symbols of achievement.
Roth said the 32 honorees have reached audiences around the world through their work, creativity and commitment to their crafts. He also said the organization looks forward to celebrating them when their stars are unveiled in Hollywood.
The announcement did not list ceremony dates for each honoree. The Walk of Fame organization said exact dates will be posted on the official Walk of Fame site.
For fans, that means the next round of sidewalk stakeouts is still to be scheduled. The names are locked in, but the individual star ceremonies will arrive on the calendar later.
