Lego fans can leave a store with a free sports car model this weekend, if they are quick enough and old enough.
According to Mashable, select Lego Stores in the U.S. and Canada are holding a free Sports Car build event on July 25 and July 26, 2026. The event is open to Lego Insiders members ages 18 and up.
The setup is straightforward: eligible visitors build the small sports car model in store, then take the finished build home. Mashable reports that the model is tied to the event and is not available for purchase.
Who can get the free Lego sports car
The giveaway is limited to members of Lego Insiders, Lego’s membership program. Mashable notes that joining Lego Insiders is free, so anyone who wants to attend should sign up before trying their luck at a participating shop.
