An Oklahoma loose caiman reported near a Cleveland County mobile-home park has still not been confirmed found, according to a later local report. The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office first alerted residents on Aug. 3 to the escaped animal near Sunnylane Estates.
The sheriff’s office placed the sighting near the intersection of South Sunnylane Road and East Indian Hills Road, according to UPI’s report on the agency’s warning.
Where was the Cleveland County caiman last reported?
The clearest last-reported location in the available accounts is Sunnylane Estates, near South Sunnylane Road and East Indian Hills Road. That was the area identified by the sheriff’s office in its Aug. 3 public alert, UPI reported.
A caiman is a crocodilian related to alligators and crocodiles, UPI reported. The animal in this case was described in a later KOCO report as about 3 feet long.
