The Robyn Zara Larsson remix pipeline is officially open again: the two Swedish pop stars have linked up on a new version of Robyn’s Sexistential single “Talk to Me,” now titled “Talk to Me, Zara,” Rolling Stone reported.

Robyn marked the collaboration on Instagram with a message to Larsson, thanking her for bringing “swagger” and “powerhouse vocals” to what Robyn described as a “h*rny track.” Robyn added that Larsson’s voice “can raise anyone’s heartbeat.”

The remix gives Larsson the first move. According to Rolling Stone, she opens “Talk to Me, Zara” with a newly added verse before the pair trade harmonies through the song and build toward its bridge.

One of the central refrains has the two singers asking to be talked through the moment, with the song playing up the intimate, phone-line tension already baked into Robyn’s Sexistential era.

What is Robyn and Zara Larsson’s remix?

“Talk to Me, Zara” is a revised version of Robyn’s “Talk to Me,” a track from her album Sexistential. The remix adds a new Zara Larsson verse and puts both artists together on harmonies across the song.

The pairing did not arrive out of nowhere. Earlier this month, Larsson appeared as a surprise guest at Robyn’s Copenhagen stop on the Sexistential tour, where “Talk to Me” was performed live for the first time, Rolling Stone reported.

Larsson celebrated that Copenhagen appearance on Instagram by calling Robyn the “Queen” after referring to herself as a Swedish princess. She thanked Robyn for bringing her out at the tour’s closing show in Copenhagen.

Robyn answered in the comments, saying it was “such a luxury” to have Larsson there and calling the appearance “the perfect finale” for the tour.

How have Robyn and Zara Larsson worked together before?

The new remix flips the setup from earlier this year. Robyn previously appeared on Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, the remix companion to Larsson’s album Midnight Sun, where the two reworked the album closer “Puss Puss.”

Rolling Stone described “Puss Puss” as a sweet goodbye centered on talking on the phone through the night. On that remix, Robyn contributed vocals that referenced the “Swedish dream” and nodded to the Sexistential title.

Larsson also celebrated that collaboration in May on X, writing that it felt right to have “the queen of Sweden” on “Puss Puss.” She thanked Robyn in Swedish and English, calling her an inspiration and saying she felt honored.

Robyn’s Sexistential remix run has already included other names. Rolling Stone reported that she has shared remixes involving Jamie XX, Arca, and CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso.

With “Talk to Me, Zara,” the two artists keep their back-and-forth going: first Robyn stepped into Larsson’s Midnight Sun world, and now Larsson has returned the favor inside Robyn’s Sexistential universe.
