The Rosalía Lux Tour confessionals have become a recurring moment before “La Perla,” bringing famous guests into an onstage booth to tell personal dating stories. Billboard and Rolling Stone report that the segment is built into the Spanish singer’s religiously themed concert staging, with the guest accounts presented live to the audience.

The stories are the performers’ own versions of events, and the people they describe are generally unnamed. They should not be read as independently verified claims about those third parties.

Which celebrities appeared in Rosalía’s Lux Tour confessional?

During the North American run, Maggie Rogers was the first documented guest at Madison Square Garden, appearing June 16, according to Billboard. Rogers said she had kissed a New York Times journalist in a conference room near the newspaper’s office, then learned from a friend that he was dating someone in that friend’s circle.

The next night at Madison Square Garden, comedian Marcello Hernández recounted an abandoned Valentine’s Day dinner. Billboard and Rolling Stone reported that Hernández said he bought wine with a fake ID, cooked a meal and set the table for a date who repeatedly said she would be late before ultimately failing to arrive. He said he drank wine while on FaceTime with his mother.

Karol G joined Rosalía on June 29 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Billboard reported. In her confessional, the Colombian star described an unnamed former partner who, she said, repeatedly found reasons to keep her out of birthday celebrations. Rolling Stone reported that Karol G also said the person missed a planned airport departure for a birthday trip during their final year together.

Chappell Roan appeared at Rosalía’s Oakland date on July 6, according to Billboard. Roan described a pandemic-era connection that began online and led her to travel to Los Angeles for a date. She said the other person later told her they had met someone else and treated the relationship as casual, an experience that informed her song “Casual,” according to Billboard and Rolling Stone.

What happens during the Lux Tour confessional?

Each night, Rosalía invites an entertainment-world guest into a confessional-style booth placed onstage before she performs “La Perla,” Billboard reported. The device plays on the tour’s Catholic and Christian imagery, while the stories have largely focused on romance, dating and awkward breakups.

The format has also travelled beyond the U.S. dates. Rolling Stone reported that Tokischa appeared in Bogotá and shared a personal story from a financially difficult period. In Chile, Francisca Valenzuela told the audience that she found a musician she had been seeing kissing another woman at a concert party, according to the magazine.

Argentine singer Lali Espósito used her appearance to recount a date at a hotel that ended with a room fire after the other person lit a joint, Rolling Stone reported. Espósito said she paid for the damage and was not repaid.

The available reports document notable appearances rather than a complete tour roster. But the pattern is clear: before “La Perla,” the pop spectacle pauses for a very public admission, and the guest list keeps the booth buzzing.
