Wildfire smoke is pushing air quality into the shopping cart, and Mashable has flagged a stack of air purifier deals from Shark, Levoit, Blueair and Dreo for anyone trying to clean up the air at home.

According to Mashable, worsening wildfire conditions across North America have more people looking for ways to protect indoor air as smoke can still get inside homes. The site advises people in affected areas to wear a mask outdoors and points to air purifiers as one tool for homes dealing with smoke, pollen, pet dander and other particles.

The top deal in Mashable’s roundup is the Shark BreatheClear Smart Air Purifier. The deal card lists it at $249.99 at Amazon, down from $329.99, for a $80 cut. Mashable also describes the discount as 24% off.

Mashable says the Shark BreatheClear Smart Air Purifier is designed for low-maintenance use, with Shark’s NeverChange filters rated to go six years before replacement. The model also has an LCD screen that shows air quality in real time.

The purifier is described as continuously filtering for smoke, pollen, dust, dander and VOCs from paint and aerosols. Mashable says the display lets users track air quality as the machine responds.

At $249.99, it is the priciest Shark deal listed in the lead slot, but the roundup also includes smaller and cheaper options from Levoit and Blueair, plus a Dreo air purifier tower fan.
