Trump AI posts flood Truth Social after Correspondents’ Dinner
Trump shared dozens of AI-generated Truth Social posts targeting critics, Iran and 2028 talk after the rescheduled media gala.

Donald Trump’s AI posts took over his Truth Social feed on Sunday, with the president sharing dozens of AI-generated images about political enemies, entertainers, Iran and his own 2028 chatter, according to Rolling Stone.
The spree came after Trump spoke Friday at the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. The annual event had been moved from April after an armed man allegedly tried to get past a Secret Service checkpoint, Rolling Stone reported.
What did Trump post on Truth Social?
Rolling Stone reported that Trump began Sunday morning by sharing an edited image of CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins made to resemble Dylan Mulvaney, the transgender influencer who became a frequent target of conservative attacks after a 2023 Bud Light campaign.
The post echoed a line Trump used during his Correspondents’ Dinner remarks. “I thought Kaitlan had really made it big with a major new sponsorship,” Trump said, according to Rolling Stone. “But then I informed her that it wasn’t her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney.”
From there, the president’s feed moved through a grab bag of digitally made digs. Rolling Stone reported that Trump shared images involving Bruce Springsteen and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, another showing Rep. Jerry Nadler and Christie fighting over cheesecake, and one depicting late-night hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon as homeless beggars.
Another post, according to the report, showed Rosie O’Donnell as a fan writing letters to Trump from Ireland.
The Iran and military fantasies got even weirder
Trump also shared several AI-generated posts centered on military imagery, Rolling Stone reported. One fake movie-poster-style image praised him as “COSMIC COMMANDER: LEADERSHIP, DESTINY, BEYOND.” Another, titled “TRUMP X WASHINGTON: A TIME TRAVEL EPIC,” appeared to show Trump saving George Washington from falling off a cliff.
An X account called Clash Report also posted the George Washington image Sunday night with the caption: “AI Trump travels back in time to save George Washington.”
Rolling Stone reported that Trump shared an AI-generated “Strike on Kharg,” portraying a U.S. attack on Kharg Island, which the outlet described as an important hub for Iranian energy logistics in the Strait of Hormuz. The report said more than a dozen other posts showed Trump commanding imaginary Iranian oil tankers, destroying them or throwing AI-generated Iranians overboard.
What was Trump saying about 2028?
The president also kept needling critics of his suggestions that he could run again in 2028, which Rolling Stone noted would violate the Constitution. He wore a “TRUMP 2028” hat during the Correspondents’ Dinner speech and posted several altered images of himself in similar hats, according to the report.
By late Sunday, Rolling Stone reported, Trump’s feed shifted back toward text posts and Fox News commentary. He praised Rep. Brandon Gill of Texas for appearing on “Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy” to discuss former special counsel Jack Smith.
Trump also attacked Smith, who indicted him on more than 40 counts tied to alleged misconduct during his first presidency. “The Deranged One stone cold lied before Congress, and worse. He destroyed many lives. Hopefully he will be treated accordingly,” Trump wrote, according to Rolling Stone.
