American Idol Season 25 auditions are officially on the calendar: the long-running singing competition will begin its next nationwide search on Aug. 25, Variety reports.
The show has been renewed for its 25th season, with the first round of tryouts taking place virtually through “Idol Across America,” a search covering all 50 states and Washington, D.C., according to Variety.

Anyone who cannot attend on their state’s assigned date can submit a video audition, according to Variety. Contestants must be at least 15 years old by Feb. 15, 2027.
