Armando Niedermeier-Rubio is asking U.S. officials for emergency help to get to his daughter’s hospital bedside, according to his immigration attorney.

Kelsey Zubkoff told TMZ that the 90 Day Fiancé star is seeking urgent assistance from the Department of Homeland Security and other U.S. authorities so he can reunite with his husband, Kenny Niedermeier, and his daughter, Hannah, during a serious medical emergency.

Hannah, who Zubkoff said is a lawful permanent resident, is being treated in the intensive care unit at a Phoenix hospital. Kenny is a U.S. citizen, according to the attorney.

TMZ previously reported that Hannah was flown from Mexico to Phoenix after suffering a brain bleed. In a video cited by TMZ, Armando said doctors still had not determined what caused the bleeding and that Hannah was undergoing more extensive testing.

Attorney asks for lawful emergency options

Zubkoff told TMZ that Armando is already going through the lawful spousal visa process. She said he is asking DHS, the relevant U.S. Embassy or consulate, or any agency with authority over the case to speed up review because of Hannah’s condition.

While that request is pending, Zubkoff said Armando’s team is also asking whether emergency humanitarian parole or another lawful temporary option could allow him to enter the United States during the medical crisis.

The attorney framed the request as an appeal for speed and compassion within the immigration system, telling TMZ the family is not seeking to evade legal requirements. She said they are asking officials to consider every lawful path available because of the severity of the situation.

Border attempt and online claims

TMZ reported earlier that Armando tried to cross the U.S.-Mexico border to reach Hannah but was turned away. The outlet also reported that Kenny traveled from Ohio to be with her in Phoenix.

Zubkoff also addressed claims circulating online about Armando’s immigration history. She told TMZ that Armando did not remain in the United States beyond an authorized period of admission.

Armando and Kenny became known to TLC viewers through 90 Day Fiancé. The current plea centers on Armando’s effort to get to Hannah while she remains under critical medical care, according to TMZ and Zubkoff.
