Brittany Cartwright has finally addressed the swirl around Jax Taylor and Lori Krebs, telling listeners she is focused on herself and their son after TMZ reported her ex is dating the publicist the former couple once shared.

Cartwright spoke at the start of Friday’s episode of her podcast, “When Reality Hits with Brittany Cartwright,” after days of attention on Taylor’s relationship with Krebs.

Cartwright told fans she is not ready to lay everything out yet, but said she plans to do so. “As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son,” she said on the podcast. “And as of right now, I’m just trying to protect my son and my peace, and very soon I will be telling [my story].”

The comments came after TMZ reported that Taylor had become involved with Krebs, described by the outlet as his and Cartwright’s longtime publicist. TMZ previously published photos of Taylor and Krebs together in a pool at a resort in Mexico.

According to TMZ, Cartwright cut ties with Krebs immediately after the pool photos surfaced. The report did not include a public response from Krebs to the firing or to Cartwright’s podcast remarks.

TMZ has also reported that Taylor and Krebs became close while both were going through divorces. Sources cited by the outlet said the two connected over parenting children with autism, and that Krebs has been an important support for Taylor during his recovery from substance abuse.

Cartwright and Taylor’s own split has been public for some time. TMZ reported that Cartwright filed for divorce in August 2024 after five years of marriage. Their relationship had previously played out on “Vanderpump Rules,” and the breakup later became part of the story on Bravo’s “The Valley.”

The former couple share a son, Cruz, who was born in 2021.

Cartwright’s podcast remarks were brief, but pointed. She did not go into detail about Taylor or Krebs, and she did not describe what she plans to share later. Her message to listeners was that her priority is her child and her own peace while the latest chapter of the divorce drama rolls on in public.

TMZ’s report did not include a public response from Taylor to Cartwright’s comments.
