Christina Pazsitzky has addressed her split from Tom Segura for the first time, telling fans on Instagram that the separation has been hard on their family.

The comedian, known professionally as Christina P., posted a message Saturday morning to her Instagram Story aimed at the “Mommies,” the fan name used by listeners of her and Segura’s podcast, “Your Mom’s House,” and viewers of programming on their YMH Network.

In the post, Pazsitzky thanked supporters for sending kind notes and wrote, “This is a really difficult time for our family.”

She also explained why the breakup has not been addressed on the podcast. According to Pazsitzky’s Instagram Story, episodes of “Your Mom’s House” are recorded ahead of time, so recent developments would not yet appear in the show.

She closed the message by telling fans, “Just know your mommy loves you and will see you very soon.”

TMZ reported the split this week

TMZ reported earlier this week that Segura and Pazsitzky had separated. Citing sources familiar with the situation, the outlet reported that the split took place within the past couple of months and was amicable.

Those sources told TMZ the comedians were taking different paths while staying committed to their children. The report did not describe a public dispute between the two.

Segura and Pazsitzky married in 2008. They have two sons: Ellis, who was born in 2016, and Julian, who was born two years later, according to TMZ.

A comedy partnership on and off the mic

The pair have long been linked professionally as well as personally through “Your Mom’s House,” the podcast that built a devoted fan base and expanded into the YMH Network. Pazsitzky’s note made clear that the podcast’s production schedule, rather than silence in real time, explains why listeners have not heard the hosts discuss the separation on recent episodes.

The Instagram Story marks Pazsitzky’s first statement described by TMZ since the outlet reported the breakup. Segura and Pazsitzky have both been major figures in the comedy podcast space, and the news has drawn attention from fans who follow their shows and family updates.

For now, Pazsitzky’s message to listeners was brief: thanks for the support, the family is going through a difficult stretch, and she expects to return to fans soon.
