A d4vd apple music hacked incident has added a bizarre new twist to the singer’s Los Angeles murder case, with TMZ reporting that a fake song appeared on his official Apple Music page while he remains jailed without bail.
The track, listed as “I Did It,” surfaced over the weekend under the page for D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, according to TMZ. The outlet reports Burke is in custody and would not have access to upload music himself.
TMZ reported that the song used a voice made to sound like D4vd and referred to Celeste Rivas, the alleged victim in the case. The artwork, according to the outlet, showed an aerial image of D4vd’s Tesla at the Los Angeles tow yard where Rivas’ dismembered body was found last year.

TMZ reported that D4vd’s Apple Music page was hacked and that the song was not a genuine release from Burke. The report says the timing landed during a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles, where prosecutors have been presenting evidence they say connects him to Rivas’ death.
The fake track repeatedly referenced Celeste by name, according to TMZ. The outlet reported that the lyrics described her as having his name tattooed on her chest and included lines about her scent lingering on clothing and the singer missing her.
TMZ said the voice on the track appeared to imitate D4vd. The song also included references to hearing Celeste while breathing and fearing she would only love him after his death, according to the outlet.
What prosecutors have said in court
Burke has pleaded not guilty to murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and unlawful mutilation of human remains, TMZ reported. The allegations remain unproven unless established in court.
During the hearing, prosecutors spent the past week outlining evidence they say links Burke to Rivas’ killing, according to TMZ. The outlet reported that the evidence included messages prosecutors claim showed strain between Burke and Rivas shortly before her death.
The court also heard that Burke had “Celeste” tattooed on one of his fingers, TMZ reported. Prosecutors said Rivas had his name tattooed on one of hers, according to the same report.
A preliminary hearing is the stage where a judge hears evidence and decides whether a criminal case should proceed toward trial. TMZ reported that Burke’s hearing is set to continue this week.
