The D4vd Aysia Collins connection became a flashpoint in court after messages read during the singer’s preliminary hearing appeared to show Celeste Rivas Hernandez angry over his friendship with Collins, TMZ reported.

Collins, identified by TMZ as a model and streamer, was named during the hearing as prosecutors laid out evidence in the case against D4vd. The singer is accused in the death of Celeste, who was 14 when she died. He has pleaded not guilty.

According to TMZ, text messages between Celeste and D4vd were read aloud in court and included threats from Celeste after she confronted him about spending time with Collins at his Hollywood Hills home.

One message read in court, according to TMZ, said: “Oh my f***ing God, I swear to God, I’ll kill u.” In another, Celeste wrote that “she was in my damn seat,” an apparent reference to Collins, TMZ reported.

Who is Aysia Collins in the D4vd case?

Aysia Collins is a model and streamer who was described in court as part of the tension between Celeste and D4vd, according to TMZ. Collins has said publicly that she was friends with D4vd, denied dating him and said she later cut ties with him.

TMZ reported that the messages also included threats by Celeste to strangle D4vd, lie to her father about him, mutilate his penis, and end his career and life. Those messages were presented as part of testimony during the preliminary hearing.

Collins has also spoken publicly about her own view of D4vd’s alleged relationship with Celeste. In Twitch videos cited by TMZ, Collins said she confronted D4vd about an alleged sexual relationship with Celeste and claimed he had led her to believe Celeste was an adult.

Collins said she turned away from D4vd after his arrest and charges in Celeste’s death, according to TMZ. She also called him a “psychopath” who “lied and betrayed everyone around him,” TMZ reported.

In another public statement cited by TMZ, Collins pushed back against criticism that she was mocking or imitating Celeste. Collins said she wanted justice for the teenager and maintained that she and D4vd were not in a romantic relationship.

What happened at D4vd’s preliminary hearing?

The preliminary hearing ended Monday after five days of testimony, TMZ reported. The judge found there was enough evidence for the case to go to trial.

Prosecutors claim D4vd lured Celeste to his home, fatally stabbed her on April 23, 2025, and later dismembered her body, according to TMZ. Her remains were discovered months later inside his Tesla, TMZ reported.

D4vd faces one count of murder, one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, and one count of unlawful mutilation of human remains, according to TMZ. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The defense has separately argued that Celeste’s family knew about her relationship with D4vd and gave permission for travel, TMZ reported. The case is now headed toward trial after the judge’s ruling at the preliminary hearing.
