Police say Desiigner assaulted child’s mother during hammer rampage
A police report obtained by TMZ says the rapper’s child was in the woman’s arms as she fled, with phones, a handbag, cars and windows damaged.

Desiigner is accused of assaulting the mother of his child while she was holding their kid, then tearing into phones, a handbag, cars and windows during the incident that led to his domestic violence arrest, TMZ reported.
The allegations are laid out in a police report obtained by TMZ. The woman told officers the fight began inside a home she shared with the rapper after he removed televisions from the walls, the report says.
She told police the argument turned physical and alleged Desiigner used a hammer to destroy both of her phones so she could not call 911, according to TMZ.
The woman then ran outside with the child and shouted for help, the report says. She first tried to get into one neighbor’s home, but the neighbor was not there, according to the police account cited by TMZ.
She then headed to another neighbor’s house, the report says. Before she made it inside, Desiigner allegedly caught up with her in a yard, threw her to the ground, pulled her designer handbag away and tossed it, TMZ reported.
The woman told police she got back up while still holding the child and ran into the neighbor’s home, according to the report.
Police listed $2,700 in damage to the woman’s phones and Dior handbag, TMZ reported.
Once inside the neighbor’s house, the woman locked herself in a bathroom, according to the report. Police said Desiigner then used a hammer and screwdriver to damage the neighbor’s cars, TMZ reported.
The police report says Desiigner later went to the neighbor’s porch, picked up a chair and threw it at the front window, breaking into the home, according to TMZ. Officers alleged several windows were smashed during the episode, with damage to the neighbor’s property placed at another $6,000.
Two additional witnesses called 911, the report says.
TMZ reported that Desiigner also allegedly banged on another neighbor’s car window and asked to use her phone.
Police arrested Desiigner at the scene, TMZ reported. He was taken to Conway Medical Center for treatment before officers transported him to the Horry County Detention Center for booking, according to the report.
The rapper, known for “Panda,” is facing one count of second-degree domestic violence and three counts of malicious injury to animals or personal property involving damage valued between $2,000 and $10,000, TMZ reported.
The allegations have not been proven in court. TMZ did not report a public response from Desiigner to the allegations in the police report.
