The Gravesend season 3 trailer has arrived with footage of Vincent Pastore in what Deadline reports was his final television role, plus Shaquille O’Neal’s first appearance in the independently made crime drama.
Deadline reported August 7 that Pastore appears in the upcoming season, which is due to premiere this fall on Prime Video. The report said the actor died August 1 at his Bronx home at age 80; the cause was believed to be natural causes.
O’Neal joins the show as both a cast member and an executive producer, according to Deadline. He is among the new faces shown in the trailer, marking a new screen stop for the basketball star.
When will Gravesend season 3 arrive on Prime Video?
A firm release date has not been announced in the reporting. Deadline described the launch as a fall premiere, while Brooklyn Paper, reporting on August 3, said the first six episodes were expected in late September or October, with the season planned in two parts.
That earlier timing was an expectation rather than a confirmed schedule. Brooklyn Paper also reported that production had wrapped when it published its August 3 report.

Deadline named Tony Danza, Talia Shire, Dominic Chianese and Vincent Curatola as newcomers alongside O’Neal. It listed William DeMeo, Chazz Palminteri, Armand Assante, Pastore, Mario Cantone, Tony Darrow and Chuck Zito among the returning stars.
Brooklyn Paper separately reported additions including Maino, Peter Gunz and Big Daddy Kane, as well as Danza, Shire, Curatola and O’Neal.
Gravesend is created, written and directed by DeMeo, Deadline reported, with Michele Frantzeskos producing. The series streams on Prime Video and is independently produced.
