Joanne McNally’s Netflix special is officially on the way, with Deadline reporting that the Irish comedian has signed a deal for her debut hour-long stand-up set to stream worldwide in 2027.
The special is called Pinotphile, and Deadline says the hour will see McNally take on modern dating, including rejection, frenemies, situationships and revenge fantasies. For a comic whose last show traveled the world with a very fizzy title, the wine theme is staying nicely on brand.
When is Joanne McNally's Netflix special coming out?
Deadline reports that Pinotphile is due to be released globally on Netflix in 2027. Before that, the special will be taped at Town Hall in New York City during the New York Comedy Festival at 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 7.
The taping will be produced by Matthew Vaughan of Rotten Science alongside Rick Hughes at Off the Kerb, according to Deadline.
An hour-long special is a standalone stand-up performance recorded for release as a single program. In McNally’s case, Pinotphile will be her first such hour for Netflix, according to the report.

McNally is described by Deadline as one of Ireland’s biggest breakout comedy stars. Her next chapter in the United States starts soon: she is set to begin her first nationwide U.S. tour in Seattle in September.
Pinotphile follows The Prosecco Express, the live show that Deadline reports sold more than 260,000 tickets worldwide. That tour played sold-out runs in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada and the U.S., including the London Palladium.
Back in Ireland, The Prosecco Express was named Ticketmaster Ireland’s Comedy Event of the Year after what Deadline describes as a record-breaking 78-show run in Dublin.
McNally's podcast and TV work
McNally also co-hosts the podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, which Deadline says reaches more than 2.5 million listeners each month. The podcast has toured internationally, with sold-out live shows in New York, Sydney and Dublin’s 3Arena.
Deadline also reports that McNally is part of the cast for the next season of BBC One’s Celebrity Traitors.
Her representation includes Rick Hughes at Off the Kerb, Christina Dwyer at Lisa Richards Agency, S414, WME and Entertainment 360, according to Deadline.
For Netflix, Pinotphile adds another international stand-up voice to its comedy slate. For McNally, it marks a clear jump from global touring success to a worldwide streaming debut, with New York serving as the launchpad for the set that viewers will see in 2027.
