Lionsgate Studios CEO Jon Feltheimer’s pay package climbed to $19.37 million for fiscal 2026, according to the company’s annual proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

The figure was up from $9.82 million in the prior fiscal year. Lionsgate’s 2026 fiscal year ended in March, and the filing lays out compensation for the company’s top named executives.

Feltheimer’s total included a $1.5 million salary, a $6.5 million bonus and stock awards valued at $10.68 million, according to the filing. Lionsgate renewed his contract in April, extending his run as CEO through 2031.

How much did Jon Feltheimer make in fiscal 2026?

Feltheimer received total compensation of $19.37 million for Lionsgate’s fiscal 2026, the company said in its SEC proxy. That compares with $9.82 million the year before.

A proxy statement is a public filing that companies use to give shareholders information ahead of an annual meeting. Among other items, it lists pay for a public company’s top executive officers.

The filing said Feltheimer’s compensation was “significantly higher” because it included the equity portion of his fiscal 2025 annual incentive bonus. That equity had a grant date fair value of about $4.4 million, according to the proxy.

The cash bonus also moved sharply higher. Feltheimer’s fiscal 2026 cash bonus was $6.5 million, compared with $1.5 million a year earlier, the filing showed.

What other Lionsgate executives were paid

Lionsgate’s proxy also listed compensation for other senior executives. Vice chair Michael Burns received $4.66 million, down from $7.72 million the previous year, according to the filing.

Chief financial officer James Barge had total compensation of $6.29 million. Chief operating officer Brian Goldsmith received $5.23 million, while Bruce Tobay, executive vice president and general counsel, received $4.49 million, the proxy said.

The company pointed in the filing to several fiscal 2026 achievements. Those included the separation of Lionsgate and Starz, momentum in the motion picture group and improved financial metrics.

The proxy also cited film titles including The Housemaid, Now You See Me, Now You Don’t and Michael, along with television series renewals. The filing did not detail individual dollar contributions for those items in the reported excerpt.

Lionsgate is scheduled to report first-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings on Aug. 6. The company has set its annual meeting of shareholders for Sept. 15, according to the filing.
