Kenny Niedermeier says his daughter Hannah came through a hospital procedure “very well” as she continues to be treated for a brain bleed in Arizona.
The “90 Day Fiancé” star shared the update on his Instagram Story, according to TMZ, telling followers that more information would come later and thanking them for the support his family has received during a frightening stretch.
Hannah is the daughter of Kenny and fellow “90 Day Fiancé” cast member Armando Niedermeier-Rubio, TMZ reported. Kenny is currently at her side while she remains under medical care at a Phoenix facility.
Armando previously said he noticed alarming symptoms in his daughter, including one side of her face appearing droopy and weakness affecting half of her body, according to TMZ. She was first taken to an emergency room in Mexico before being transferred to Phoenix for what was described as better care.
Doctors have not yet determined what caused the brain bleed, TMZ reported. The outlet also said it was not clear what specific procedure Hannah underwent.
Armando remains separated from family
The medical crisis has also left the family dealing with a border problem. TMZ reported that Armando was turned away at the U.S.-Mexico border while trying to reach Kenny and Hannah.
His immigration attorney told TMZ that Armando is seeking a spousal visa so he can be with his husband and daughter in the United States.
Armando has spoken publicly about the ordeal while waiting for answers, with TMZ publishing video of the reality star becoming emotional over Hannah’s condition.
Kenny’s latest update was a hopeful one in an otherwise uncertain situation. For now, the family has shared that Hannah is receiving care in Arizona, that her procedure went well, and that they are still waiting to learn what caused the brain bleed.
