The Marshals season 2 cast is adding Marque Richardson, who will recur as Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Burns, according to Deadline’s August 12 report. Richardson’s previous credits include Unprisoned and Dear White People.
The CBS drama is also bringing back Morgan Lindholm in a larger capacity. She plays Maddie, the bartender at the local spot Bullet ’N Barrel and the estranged daughter of Pete “Cal” Calvin, the marshal played by Logan Marshall-Green.

The show’s first eight Season 1 episodes averaged 20.4 million multiplatform viewers, Deadline reported, citing Nielsen. Season 2 now has a new federal prosecutor in the mix and a more prominent role for Maddie, while some of the finale’s biggest questions remain unresolved.
