Matty Healy and Gabbriette are married, with TMZ reporting the couple exchanged vows Saturday evening at Castillo del Lago in the Hollywood Hills.
The 1975 singer and the model held the ceremony at the Spanish Colonial Revival mansion, a historic estate once owned by Madonna, according to TMZ. Family members and a guest list dotted with familiar faces were there for the celebration.
Backgrid photos and video published by TMZ showed Healy in a black tuxedo and Gabbriette in a white wedding gown with a long veil. Her hair was styled half up and half down for the ceremony.
After the vows, the couple posed for photographers, with Healy dipping Gabbriette as they kissed before going inside for the reception, TMZ reported.
Who was at the wedding
TMZ reported that Charli XCX attended with her husband, George Daniel, Healy’s bandmate in The 1975. Other guests listed by the outlet included Anastasia Karanikolaou, Fai Khadra, Alex Consani, Devon Lee Carlson and fiancé Duke Nicholson, Sydney Lynn Carlson, Tyrell Hampton, Alex O’Connor and Quenlin Blackwell.
The wedding comes after Healy and Gabbriette first fueled dating rumors in September 2023, according to TMZ. The outlet reported they became engaged in June 2024.
The Taylor Swift timing
The ceremony landed two weeks after Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce, according to TMZ’s reporting on both weddings.
TMZ reported Healy and Swift were briefly linked in 2023, before the outlet later reported that the short-lived relationship had ended. The outlet also noted that fans later speculated Swift’s 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department, included material inspired by that period.
According to TMZ, Swift met Kelce in summer 2023 after her connection with Healy ended that spring. TMZ reported Swift and Kelce married July 3 at Madison Square Garden in front of 1,000 guests, with Adam Sandler officiating.
Healy’s wedding weekend had already drawn attention before the ceremony. TMZ also published video from the wedding rehearsal showing Healy kissing Gabbriette.
For Healy and Gabbriette, Saturday’s ceremony marked the next step in a relationship that went public through sightings in 2023, moved to an engagement in 2024 and finished with a Hollywood Hills wedding at one of Los Angeles’ better-known celebrity estates.
