Megan Fox fired back after an Instagram user criticized her gothic lingerie photos, answering with a pointed question about her exes.

Megan Fox turned one Instagram jab into a quick shot at her dating history after a follower criticized the lingerie photos she posted Friday.
The actress shared a slideshow of gothic-inspired shots on Instagram, where one commenter took aim at both the pictures and her age. The user wrote, "This s*** is so unbelievably embarrassing for a 40-year-old mom to be posting ... 16 year old tumblr s***."
Fox did not answer with a long explanation. She replied with a single question: "which one of my exes is this."
The comeback landed with extra bite because Fox's recent romantic history has played out in public. TMZ reported that she last dated Machine Gun Kelly, with the pair beginning their relationship in March 2020 and getting engaged in January 2022.
According to TMZ, the relationship later became rocky, and the two split for good in late 2024. Their breakup came before they welcomed their daughter, Saga, in March 2025.
Fox later confirmed the pregnancy was not planned, describing it as a "happy surprise," TMZ reported. The outlet said Fox and Machine Gun Kelly continue to coparent.
Family ties in the background
Fox also shares three sons, Noah, Bodhi and Journey, with her former husband Brian Austin Green. TMZ reported that Fox and Green were together for about 15 years and married for 10.
Their divorce became final in early 2022, months after they reached a settlement agreement, according to TMZ.
The Instagram exchange did not name any ex directly. Fox's reply, though, turned a stranger's insult into a pointed one-liner about the men in her past, while leaving the target open to interpretation.
The post also continues Fox's recent run of attention-grabbing social media moments. TMZ has previously reported on Fox posting provocative photos around her 40th birthday and sharing new pictures after blocking Machine Gun Kelly on Instagram.
For now, Fox has not offered a longer explanation for the lingerie slideshow or the reply. The public comment itself did the talking: one critic swung, and Fox answered by making the insult sound like it came from someone she used to date.
