A World Cup Final trip can now come with a helicopter hop from Manhattan to MetLife Stadium, if the buyer is willing to pay seven figures.
Medium Rare is offering a $1 million package tied to the World Cup Final, according to TMZ Sports, stacking VIP game access with a celebrity-hosted party, a hard-to-book New York dinner and future sports-entertainment perks.
The offer begins the night before the match. TMZ Sports reports that the package gives a group of 10 access to Sports Illustrated’s SI Beyond The Pitch event at Cipriani Wall Street on Saturday.
The party is set to be hosted by 50 Cent and Diplo, according to the report. That part of the package covers the buyer and nine guests.
What the million-dollar package includes
The game-day portion is smaller but far splashier. TMZ Sports reports the package includes four premium VIP tickets to the World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium.
Those four guests will not be doing the usual traffic crawl into New Jersey. The package includes a helicopter ride from Manhattan to the stadium area, according to the report.
- Access for 10 to Sports Illustrated’s SI Beyond The Pitch at Cipriani Wall Street
- A Saturday night event hosted by 50 Cent and Diplo
- Four premium VIP tickets to the World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium
- Helicopter travel from Manhattan to New Jersey for the match
- A table for four at 4 Charles Prime Rib in New York City
- Backstage passes to a fall taping of Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart’s podcast
- A VIP table at next year’s Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party in Los Angeles
The restaurant piece is another New York status play. TMZ Sports says the package includes a table for four at 4 Charles Prime Rib, a Manhattan steakhouse known as a difficult reservation.
The sports extras continue after the World Cup. Medium Rare is also including backstage passes for a taping of the podcast hosted by New York Knicks players Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart this fall, according to TMZ Sports.
There is also a future party thrown into the deal: a VIP table at next year’s Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party in Los Angeles, the report says.
The price for the whole bundle is $1,000,000. TMZ Sports noted that fans can also buy tickets through FIFA’s website, though that route would not include the helicopter ride, celebrity party access, steakhouse table or the later VIP events described in Medium Rare’s package.
