Savannah Guthrie has posted a new public plea in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping, asking the person who took her 84-year-old mother to bring her home or tell the family where to search, according to TMZ.
The “TODAY” host shared the message on Instagram after what she described as months of anguish for her family. TMZ reported that Guthrie said the family’s situation has not changed and that they remain caught in a nightmare while Nancy Guthrie is still missing.
In the video, Guthrie said her family has done its part and will keep looking for Nancy, according to TMZ. She directed her appeal at the person responsible, urging them to “do the right thing” and “make the right choice,” TMZ reported.
Guthrie also said she believes the person has “tried to do things the right way,” according to TMZ, and asked them to tell the family where Nancy is, or at least where they should look.

TMZ reported that Nancy Guthrie was taken from her Tucson, Arizona, home on the night of January 31. According to the outlet, a masked intruder broke into the house and removed her from her bed while she was sleeping.
Nancy was in poor health at the time she was abducted, TMZ reported. Nearly seven months later, the person who took her has not been publicly identified, according to the outlet.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI have been involved in the search, TMZ reported. The outlet said the investigation has included a major manhunt, but authorities have not found Nancy so far.
