Óscar Casas signs with Impression Entertainment after Desire tops Netflix chart
The Spanish actor joins Impression Entertainment as Netflix’s Mexican thriller Desire hits No. 1 on the streamer’s non-English film chart.

Óscar Casas has signed with Impression Entertainment for management, Deadline reported, giving the Spanish actor new U.S. representation as interest builds around his Netflix film Desire.
Casas is part of the cast of Desire, also titled Deseo, a Mexican erotic thriller from director Teresa Simone. The film follows a married lawyer who begins an affair with her daughter’s swim coach, according to Deadline.
The Netflix run has given the movie a quick blast of international heat. Deadline reported that Desire reached No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 chart for non-English movies after drawing 12.9 million views in its first week on the service.
The film premiered on Netflix on July 17, following a theatrical release in Mexico in May. Casas stars alongside Ludwika Paleta and José María Yazpik.
Who represents Óscar Casas now?
Impression Entertainment will manage Casas, according to Deadline. The company was founded by Jill Littman and Michael Baum, and its client list includes Édgar Ramírez, Antony Starr, Francois Arnaud, Reid Scott and María Gabriela De Faría.
Casas also remains represented by United Agents in the United Kingdom, Deadline reported.

Casas has also finished work on A Puño Descubierto, a boxing drama written and directed by his older brother, Mario Casas. Deadline reported that the film is set for release next year.
His recent film credits also include Idols, described by Deadline as a coming-of-age story set in the world of MotoGP, and the romantic comedy You Stole My Heart.
On television, Casas has built a slate that spans drama, action, fantasy and psychological thriller projects. Deadline listed his credits as the miniseries The Big Leap, also known as El Gran Salto, the drama Caged Wings, the Prime Video action series Jaguar, Netflix’s action thriller Xtreme, the fantasy series Always a Witch and the psychological drama Instinto.
Caged Wings also connects the actor to his brother Mario Casas, who directed that drama as well as the upcoming A Puño Descubierto, according to Deadline.
