Ozzy Osbourne Halloween Horror Nights fans are getting a new haunt built around the Prince of Darkness himself, with Universal announcing a 2026 house inspired by the late metal star’s solo career.
The attraction, titled “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,” is set for both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Universal said in its announcement that guests can “climb aboard the Crazy Train” for a trip through a rock-and-roll nightmare tied to Osbourne’s world.
The announcement comes after Osbourne’s death in July 2025. TMZ reported at the time that he had died after living with Parkinson’s disease.
When does the Ozzy Osbourne Halloween Horror Nights house open?
Universal says the Ozzy Osbourne house opens Aug. 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Sept. 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
A Halloween Horror Nights “house” is the event’s term for a walk-through haunted attraction, often built around a film, show, artist or original horror idea. In this case, Universal is drawing from Osbourne’s solo music era rather than announcing a Black Sabbath-themed maze.
What else is in the 2026 Halloween Horror Nights lineup?
The Osbourne house is joining a franchise-heavy slate for the 2026 season. Universal’s announced mazes also include “Sinners,” the final season of “Stranger Things” and “Hellraiser.”
Universal Orlando’s original attractions for the year include “Oddfellow vs. Jack,” “Cybergoria,” “Madlands” and “Invasion: Alien Abduction,” according to the announcement. The park is also bringing back horror host H.R. Bloodengutz.
Universal released an announcement video for “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” through its Halloween Horror Nights channel, adding a visual tease to the reveal. The company has not provided further plot details for the house beyond its Osbourne solo-career inspiration and the “Crazy Train” setup.
For Universal, the booking is a natural Halloween fit. Osbourne’s “Prince of Darkness” nickname has followed him for decades, and the park is using that persona as the center of a seasonal horror attraction one year after his death.
The house will give visitors in both Florida and California a chance to step into a themed tribute during Universal’s 2026 spooky-season run, alongside TV, film and original haunted attractions already on the bill.
