Porsha Williams’ divorce settlement with Simon Guobadia reportedly puts the Atlanta home they shared, more than $1.5 million in equity reimbursement and a 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost in Williams’ column.
TMZ, citing court documents it said it obtained, reported that Guobadia transferred his interest in the mansion to the Real Housewives of Atlanta star through a quitclaim deed. TMZ did not state a value for the mansion.
The outlet reported that Williams said she is entitled to $1,568,181.63 from Guobadia’s share of the property equity. It also reported that Guobadia agreed to transfer title to the 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost to Williams.
What did TMZ report about Porsha Williams’ divorce settlement?
According to TMZ’s account of the reported agreement, Williams may refinance the house or sell it in a commercially reasonable way without Guobadia or an arbitrator taking part.
TMZ said Williams and Guobadia confirmed the terms under oath at an Aug. 5 hearing and told the judge the agreement settled their remaining disputes. The underlying court filings, hearing record and property documents were not included in the reporting reviewed here, so the reported terms could not be independently verified.
A quitclaim deed can be used to transfer property or title in Georgia, according to state guidance. The state also says such a deed does not guarantee that the person signing it owns the property or has the right to transfer it, and that additional documentation is needed for official ownership recognition.
A divorce case that ran beyond the prenup fight
Williams and Guobadia married in November 2022. TMZ reported that Williams filed for divorce in February 2024, about 15 months later.
The case had already produced a dispute over their prenuptial agreement. A Yahoo-hosted Us Weekly report said a judge enforced the prenup after a June 11 hearing. Guobadia had opposed enforcement, alleging that Williams did not disclose plans to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. That was his allegation, not an independently established finding in the material reviewed.
In an August 2025 report, All About The Real Housewives said Guobadia had appealed the prenup ruling and that no judge had ruled on that appeal at the time. TMZ’s subsequent account says the pair told the court their remaining issues were resolved, but the available material does not establish whether the reported settlement affected that appeal.
