Starz Crunchyroll bundle lands on Prime Video at $16.99 a month
Starz and Crunchyroll are selling a discounted U.S. bundle through Prime Video, pairing premium TV and anime for $16.99 monthly.

The Starz Crunchyroll bundle is hitting Prime Video in the U.S. at $16.99 per month, giving Amazon customers a discounted way to subscribe to both streamers, Variety reported.
The package, available beginning July 29 for eligible customers, costs more than 23% less than buying Starz and Sony-owned Crunchyroll separately, according to Variety. It is also Crunchyroll’s first bundle deal in the U.S., the report said.
Existing Amazon customers can sign up inside Prime Video by choosing the Starz-Crunchyroll bundle and completing the purchase steps, according to Variety.
What is in the Starz Crunchyroll bundle?
The bundle combines access to Starz and Crunchyroll through Prime Video for one monthly price. Starz brings premium series and films, while Crunchyroll adds a large anime catalog and upcoming seasonal titles.
Alison Hoffman, president of Starz Networks, said in a statement reported by Variety that the offer brings together two services with different programming identities and gives viewers more genres in one package. She also said the deal with Crunchyroll and Prime Video gives Starz a way to reach more households as viewing habits change.
Terry Li, Crunchyroll’s chief product officer and executive vice president of emerging business, said in a statement that Crunchyroll wants anime to reach more audiences in easier ways. Li described the Prime Video launch as a step toward helping fans discover more series and introducing new viewers to anime storytelling, Variety reported.
What Starz shows and movies are included?
Variety reported that the Starz side of the bundle includes the complete “Power” Universe, plus the upcoming finale of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” on Aug. 7.
Other Starz programming named in the report includes “Fightland,” arriving July 31 and set in the world of British boxing. Variety described it as Starz’s first wholly owned original series.
The Starz lineup also includes “S.W.A.T. Exiles,” a Sept. 25 crime drama starring and executive-produced by Shemar Moore, and “Outlander: Blood of My Blood,” due Sept. 18 as the latest entry in the “Outlander” franchise, according to Variety.
On the film side, Variety said Starz subscribers can stream exclusive first-run premieres including “Michael,” starring Jaafar Jackson, on Aug. 10, and “Beast,” starring Russell Crowe, Luke Hemsworth and Daniel MacPherson, on Aug. 8. The library also includes “The Housemaid,” with Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, and “Shelter,” starring Jason Statham.
What Crunchyroll anime titles are part of the deal?
Crunchyroll’s catalog in the bundle includes “Dragon Ball,” including “Dragon Ball DAIMA,” along with “Naruto,” “Naruto Shippuden,” “Afro Samurai,” “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood,” “My Hero Academia” and “Cowboy Bebop,” Variety reported.
The anime service’s August 2026 season, as listed by Variety, includes “BLACK TORCH,” “Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia,” “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” Season 3, “Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You” and “ONE PIECE HEROINES.”
The bundle gives Prime Video another packaged subscription offer at a time when streaming services are increasingly being sold together rather than one app at a time. For anime fans and Starz viewers, the pitch is straightforward: two libraries, one Prime Video checkout, and a lower monthly bill than separate subscriptions, according to the companies’ announcement reported by Variety.
