President Donald Trump gave the first look at Vice President J.D. Vance and Usha Vance’s newborn son, sharing a photo of baby Alec Neel on Truth Social after the couple welcomed their fourth child.

Trump’s post identified the baby by name and described him as “a perfect baby boy.” According to TMZ, the president posted the image before either of Alec’s parents shared a photo of the newborn.

The picture did not include J.D. Vance or Usha Vance, TMZ reported. It showed Alec with two of his older siblings seated on furniture in what appeared to be a hospital room.

Usha Vance gave birth Sunday at Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland, according to TMZ. J.D. Vance had announced the birth before Trump posted the baby photo.

Alec Neel is the fourth child for the vice president and the second lady. The couple’s other children are Ewan, 9, Vivek, 6, and Mirabel, 4, according to TMZ.

J.D. and Usha Vance have been married since 2014. Their family has now grown by one, with the first public baby photo arriving from the president’s account rather than from mom or dad.
