Home invasion reported at Saquon Barkley’s Pennsylvania home
Officials said Saquon Barkley’s family was not hurt after an incident at his Tredyffrin Township residence Sunday morning.

A home invasion was reported Sunday morning at Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley’s residence in Pennsylvania, according to the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.
The incident happened at Barkley’s home in Tredyffrin Township, officials said. The district attorney’s office said Barkley’s family was not injured.
Investigators are asking neighbors and anyone who was in the area to check home security footage for anything suspicious around 5 a.m.
“We are asking the public to help us identify those responsible by checking any home security cameras for suspicious activity in the area around 5:00 a.m.,” the district attorney’s office said. “If you saw anything unusual or have video that may assist investigators, please contact the Tredyffrin Township Police Department immediately.”
The investigation remains ongoing, according to officials. Authorities did not release additional details about what was taken, whether anyone was inside the residence during the incident or whether any arrests had been made.
A high-profile athlete targeted
Barkley, a New York native, entered the NFL in 2018 with the New York Giants. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024.
His first season in Philadelphia brought major honors: Barkley was named the Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 after his debut campaign with the Eagles.
The reported home invasion comes amid other criminal cases involving the homes of prominent athletes.
Last summer, a Seattle man was charged in connection with burglaries at homes belonging to four current and former NFL and MLB players, including Seattle Mariners pitcher Luis Castillo and former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, according to NBC News.
In February 2025, three men alleged to be part of a South American theft group were indicted in connection with a break-in at Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s home, NBC News reported at the time.
Officials in Chester County have not said whether the incident at Barkley’s residence is connected to any other break-ins.
