President Trump warned Wednesday that the U.S. would target Iranian infrastructure for every drone or missile attack in the Strait of Hormuz, according to CBS News.
Trump said that for each Iranian drone or missile attack in the key waterway, the U.S. would “bomb and destroy one bridge or power plant,” CBS News reported.
Iran responded with its own warning, saying that if the U.S. hits civilian targets, it will seek to stop all oil flow from the region, according to CBS News.
Threats focus on the Strait of Hormuz
The exchange came as CBS News reported that the U.S. had completed an 11th night of strikes. The report did not specify the targets of those strikes.
The Strait of Hormuz was at the center of Trump’s warning. He tied any U.S. response to Iranian drone or missile attacks in that waterway, according to the CBS News report.
