Tyler Boebert, the 21-year-old son of Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert, was arrested in Garfield County on five felony Tyler Boebert arrest charges, including three counts involving the alleged sexual exploitation of a child, authorities said.
The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said deputies took him into custody Sunday following an investigation and a felony review process by the 9th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, according to NBC News, CBS News Colorado and The Aspen Times.
Boebert was booked into the Garfield County Jail, then released the same day after posting $10,000 bond, those outlets reported, citing the sheriff’s office. He is scheduled for a court appearance related to bond on Aug. 19.

That earlier case was later reopened, the outlet reported.
That prior case does not determine the outcome of the current charges. Boebert’s Aug. 19 court appearance is scheduled, not completed.
