Cord-cutters chasing Fox have a short list of live TV services to check: DirecTV, Fubo, Sling and Hulu + Live TV, according to a Rolling Stone guide by Oscar Hartzog.
The channel remains a tricky one for viewers who have ditched cable. Rolling Stone notes that Fox is not folded into another streaming service in the same way CBS appears on Paramount+ or TNT appears on HBO Max.
That matters for viewers looking for Fox programming, including American Idol, sports and other live events. Rolling Stone also reports that Fox is the exclusive U.S. broadcaster for all FIFA World Cup matches.

DirecTV
Rolling Stone names DirecTV as its editor’s pick among the services listed for watching Fox without cable.
According to the guide, Fox is included in several DirecTV plans, including the MyNews and MySports Genre Packs and larger Signature Packages. The Fox-carrying packages start at $44.99 per month, and Rolling Stone says they begin with a five-day free trial.
The guide also says DirecTV offers up to 185-plus channels, with major national and local channels and regional sports network coverage among its strengths.
Fubo
Fubo is another option listed by Rolling Stone for streaming Fox. The guide says Fox is available in every Fubo plan.
Packages start at $64.99 per month, according to Rolling Stone. The service offers up to 300-plus channels, and the guide highlights its interface and local coverage.
Rolling Stone also says Fubo is offering up to $30 off a customer’s first month.
Sling
Sling is the lowest starting-price option named in the guide. Rolling Stone says the service carries Fox in its Select, Blue and Orange + Blue packages.
Those plans start at $19.99 per month, according to the guide. Rolling Stone also lists short-term passes and up to 50-plus channels among the service details.
Hulu + Live TV
Hulu + Live TV also carries Fox in its channel lineup, according to Rolling Stone.
The guide says Hulu + Live TV costs $89.99 per month and includes a three-day free trial. Rolling Stone lists more than 100 channels with the package.
The service also includes access to Hulu’s on-demand library, Disney+ and ESPN, according to the guide.
Free trial route
For viewers trying to watch Fox without paying right away, Rolling Stone points to free trials from DirecTV and Hulu + Live TV.
DirecTV’s trial runs five days, while Hulu + Live TV’s trial runs three days, according to the guide. After that, the monthly prices listed by Rolling Stone apply unless the customer cancels or changes service.
