The 2027 Artios Awards date is now on the calendar: Casting Society said Monday that its 42nd annual honors will be held Thursday, February 18.
The awards will be staged at the same time in three cities, with ceremonies at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, the Edison Ballroom in New York City and One Moorgate Place in London, according to the group.
Casting Society also set the nomination timetable and submission windows for the season, splitting the schedule into two phases. Phase 1 covers television, theater, commercials, short film and short form series categories. Phase 2 covers film and a new London Theater category.
When are the 2027 Artios Awards?
The 42nd Artios Awards will take place Thursday, February 18, Casting Society said. Phase 1 nominees are due October 7, while Phase 2 nominees are set for December 16.
The Artios Awards honor casting work in film, scripted and unscripted television, commercials and theater. The awards are presented by Casting Society, the 44-year-old organization of casting professionals that says it has nearly 1,200 members.
The group’s next ceremony comes after a notable stretch for casting recognition. In February, Casting Society gave major Artios film awards to Sinners, Zootopia 2, Jay Kelly and Sentimental Value. The Academy Award for Best Casting, introduced as a new competitive Oscar, later went to Cassandra Kulukundis for One Battle After Another.
