ABC fall premiere dates set for Shark Tank, Abbott Elementary and DWTS

ABC fall premiere dates are now on the calendar, with the network announcing a rollout that starts with college football in late August and brings back several of its best-known shows through mid-October.
According to ABC, the entertainment lineup begins in earnest Sept. 15 with a two-night premiere for “Dancing With the Stars.” The network has said celebrity cast members include Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins and Jackson Olson, with additional names still to be announced.
The schedule also gives “America’s Funniest Home Videos” a two-episode return on Sept. 27, followed by a busy comedy-and-business block on Sept. 30 with “Scrubs” and “Shark Tank.” ABC says the new “Scrubs” season is the second for the reboot and the 11th season overall.

ABC’s fall schedule starts Aug. 29 with “College Football,” then moves into scripted, unscripted and news programming across September and October. The biggest entertainment dates are Sept. 15 for “Dancing With the Stars,” Sept. 30 for “Scrubs” and “Shark Tank,” Oct. 7 for “Abbott Elementary,” and Oct. 15 for “9-1-1,” “9-1-1: Nashville” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
“Shark Tank” returns with Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner, Daymond John, Daniel Lubetzky, Kevin O’Leary, Kendra Scott and Rashaun Williams, according to ABC. The network also named MrBeast, Mindy Kaling, J.J. Watt and Steven Bartlett among the guest sharks.
“Abbott Elementary” is set for Oct. 7. One week later, ABC turns Thursday night over to emergency drama and hospital drama, with “9-1-1,” the new “9-1-1: Nashville” and “Grey’s Anatomy” airing back to back on Oct. 15.
