Adam22 has been served with legal papers in a divorce case that Lena the Plug says was filed by someone pretending to be her, according to TMZ.

TMZ reports that new court documents were filed Tuesday by a person claiming to be Lena. Those documents say a process server delivered court papers to Adam22 on July 15 at his $3 million home in Studio City, California.

Adam22 confirmed to TMZ that he received the legal papers. He told the outlet he wants police or the FBI to step in, but said he has not heard back from any agency.

A divorce filing Lena says she did not make

The case traces back to June 3, when a divorce petition was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, TMZ previously reported. The petition claimed Lena was seeking to end her marriage to Adam22.

Lena has publicly denied being behind the filing. She told TMZ that she did not file for divorce and said she believed the paperwork came from a mystery man who may be getting catfished by someone pretending to be her.

According to TMZ, the petition said Lena was asking for primary custody of the 5-year-old child she shares with Adam22. The filing also alleged she was seeking support and claimed Adam22 gives her only $3,000 per month to live on.

Lena told TMZ she believes the alleged catfish has been telling the man that she is in danger and needs help getting away from Adam22. Lena described that claim to TMZ as untrue.

No dismissal filed yet, TMZ says

After the June filing surfaced, Lena told TMZ she planned to hire a lawyer to get the case thrown out. TMZ reports that, as of its latest account, she does not appear to have taken official action in court to dismiss it.

The latest filing suggests the person pursuing the case is still trying to push it forward, despite Lena’s denial that she wants a divorce from Adam22.

TMZ has also reported that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating Lena’s identity theft claims connected to the disputed divorce filing.

The situation has now moved from a disputed petition to papers being physically served on Adam22, according to the court documents described by TMZ. Adam22 says he wants law enforcement involvement, while Lena has maintained that the divorce case was not initiated by her.
