Armando Rubio’s daughter Hannah is back in the hospital after her symptoms worsened during recovery from an unexplained brain bleed, according to an update from Kenny Niedermeier.
Kenny, who stars with Armando on “90 Day Fiancé,” told followers on his Instagram Story late Friday that their 13-year-old daughter had been admitted to the emergency room earlier in the day because her physical symptoms had intensified, TMZ reported.
He said doctors were running additional tests. Despite the frightening return to the ER, Kenny said Hannah was still in “good spirits,” according to TMZ.
What happened to Armando Rubio’s daughter?
TMZ reported that Hannah first went to an emergency room in Mexico nearly two weeks ago before being transferred to an ICU in Phoenix, Arizona, for treatment of a brain bleed. The outlet said she spent about a week in the hospital while doctors performed extensive testing.
According to TMZ, the family still has not been given a cause for the medical emergency. Hannah was discharged earlier this week, and Kenny told the outlet she had been resting, sleeping often and preparing for more tests.
Kenny also told TMZ on Thursday that Hannah had improved since the first hospitalization, when she had weakness affecting half of her body. Even so, he said she was still dealing with partial blindness, weakness and shaking.
TMZ reported that Hannah remained on preventive anti-seizure medication and medication for brain swelling as she continued recovering.
Armando’s visa situation is adding pressure
The health crisis has also created an urgent immigration wrinkle for the family. TMZ previously reported that Armando was granted an emergency visa so he could be with Hannah in Phoenix after days of work with lawmakers to make it happen.
Kenny told TMZ that the temporary visa is set to expire Sunday. He said Armando has to return to Mexico and then go back to Border Patrol to find out whether a visa extension has been approved.
If the extension does not come through, Kenny said Armando will remain in Mexico while Kenny stays in Phoenix to care for Hannah, according to TMZ.
Armando and Kenny, one of the best-known couples from “90 Day Fiancé,” have been sharing parts of Hannah’s medical ordeal with fans as doctors keep searching for answers. The latest ER visit means the family is again waiting on test results while trying to keep both parents close during her recovery.
