Armando Rubio’s visa extension is still unresolved while his daughter Hannah remains in Arizona recovering from a brain bleed, according to TMZ, leaving the “90 Day Fiancé” star facing a tense border trip as doctors keep searching for answers.
His husband, Kenny Niedermeier, told TMZ that Armando is waiting to learn whether his extension has been approved and must go to the border on Sunday to find out.
According to Kenny, Armando has to cross the border completely, then turn back and meet with U.S. Border Patrol, where he is expected to be told whether the extension was granted.
Kenny described the situation to TMZ as “touch and go” and said there is “uncertainty” around what happens next.

Kenny told TMZ that Hannah has improved, though several symptoms remain. He said she is still dealing with partial blindness, weakness and shaking.
According to Kenny, Hannah is also taking preventative anti-seizure medication and medication for brain swelling.
Doctors have been running multiple scans, Kenny told TMZ, including MRIs and CT scans. He said the family hopes to learn more after her next scan.
Hannah is not confined to bed, Kenny said, but she is taking things slowly. He told TMZ she has been resting and sleeping a lot.
Kenny also said weakness in Hannah’s right arm and hand has made daily tasks harder for her.
Where will the family stay?
Kenny told TMZ that Hannah will remain in Arizona for more than a month. He said he plans to stay with her during that time.
Housing is still unsettled, according to Kenny. He told TMZ he has not yet secured an apartment and said finding a place to stay has been expensive.
Armando and Kenny, who are known to viewers from “90 Day Fiancé,” have been dealing with the medical emergency while also trying to manage Armando’s immigration issue, TMZ reported.
For now, the family is waiting on two fronts: doctors are still looking for clearer answers about Hannah’s condition, and Armando is waiting to find out whether he can remain in the United States with his daughter during her recovery.
