Bella Hadid’s ex Adan Banuelos reportedly learned she was single from TMZ
TMZ reports the horse trainer believed he and Bella Hadid were still together after recent trips, dinners and rodeos in Colorado.

Bella Hadid’s relationship status appears to have surprised one very involved party: her ex, horse trainer Adan Banuelos.
TMZ reports that Banuelos believed he and Hadid were still a couple until the outlet published a Monday story saying the supermodel is single. The report, citing sources with direct knowledge, says Banuelos learned of the apparent breakup only after TMZ knocked down rumors linking Hadid to Nathan Lacy, described as the brother of one of her friends.
According to TMZ, Banuelos had reason to think the romance was still alive. The outlet reports that he and Hadid had recently spent time together in Colorado, including a trip to Aspen that featured several dinners and multiple rodeo outings.
TMZ says the pair attended a rodeo in Snowmass on June 29 and another in Silver City on July 1. The outlet also says it obtained a photo of Hadid and Banuelos eating together on June 29.
The Colorado run did not stop there. TMZ reports the two were also seen at Kemo Sabe, the Aspen Western-wear spot known for drawing celebrity traffic, on July 4.
After the Aspen visit, TMZ says Banuelos returned to Texas for a horse competition. Hadid, according to the outlet’s sources, went to another Colorado city to see mutual friends.
A long-running on-and-off romance
Hadid and Banuelos first sparked dating talk in October 2023, TMZ reported at the time. The outlet now describes their relationship as having been on and off for more than two and a half years.
Banuelos, a professional horse trainer, became part of Hadid’s public orbit as the model spent more time around Western riding and rodeo culture. TMZ’s latest report does not say whether Banuelos has commented publicly on the split.
Hadid’s side has not yet weighed in publicly either. TMZ says it contacted Hadid’s representatives for comment and had not received a response.
The new reporting follows TMZ’s earlier update that Hadid is single and is not dating Lacy, despite chatter after the two were seen together. The outlet attributed that clarification to its own sources.
For now, the public version is spare: TMZ says Hadid is single, Banuelos reportedly thought otherwise, and the recent Aspen sightings made the split news land with extra whiplash.
