Brandi Glanville has put her own past drug use on the record, saying during a podcast conversation that she used cocaine in the 1990s.

The former Real Housewives cast member made the admission while speaking with podcast cohost James Maas, according to TMZ, during a discussion that turned to Kristin Cavallari and old allegations from Cavallari’s Hills castmates that she had used drugs on the show.

Glanville, TMZ reported, said cocaine use was common “back in the day” and included herself in that group. She also said she stopped after the fentanyl crisis emerged, citing the change in danger around drug use.

The reality TV alum did not frame the topic as especially taboo in the clip TMZ published. The outlet described her as candid about having used cocaine in the past, while also saying that the current era is different because of fentanyl concerns.

Glanville also spoke about her children in the same conversation, saying they do not party the way she did. TMZ reported that she called them “boring” in that context and said they are not using the same drugs she once did.

The remarks came as Glanville and Maas were discussing Cavallari’s time on The Hills. TMZ reported that Glanville brought up the drug accusations aimed at Cavallari by her former castmates, then shifted into her own history with cocaine.

Glanville did not provide, according to TMZ’s account, further specifics about how often she used cocaine, where she used it, or when exactly she stopped beyond linking the decision to the fentanyl crisis.

The comments add another blunt entry to Glanville’s long public record of unfiltered podcast and reality-TV moments. This time, the headline-grabber was not a feud or a Bravo reunion blowup, but a plain admission about a past she says does not match the way her kids live now.

TMZ posted video of the conversation under the banner “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered,” showing the reality star discussing the topic directly with Maas.
