CAA has hired Elle Skinner as an agent in its London office, adding another executive to its fast-growing UK creators division, Deadline reported.
Skinner joins from Free Focus Management, where she spent seven years and moved up from talent manager to head of talent. At CAA, she will represent digital-first talent and advise creators as they develop businesses around their work, according to the report.
The move puts Skinner inside one of the major Hollywood agencies at a time when creator representation is becoming a bigger battleground across entertainment, brand partnerships and online media.
From Free Focus to CAA
During her career, Skinner has represented creators and personalities including Helen Anderson, Hobbie Stuart, Beth Sandland, Francesca Perks, Emma Tamsin Hill, Gabriella Lindley and BBC Radio 1 presenter Alyx Holcombe, Deadline reported.
Before working in talent management, Skinner began in television production, including work for Endemol.
CAA agent Glen Miller praised Skinner’s work with creators, saying she had built a strong reputation for helping them develop long-term careers and turn their platforms into businesses.
“Her experience across talent management, brand partnerships, content, and entrepreneurship makes her an exceptional addition to our growing Creators team,” Miller said, according to Deadline. “As the creator economy continues to mature across Europe, we’re excited to welcome her to CAA.”
CAA keeps building in the UK
Skinner’s arrival follows the recent hiring of Georgia Katz, who joined CAA from management firm Mokkingbird, Deadline reported. Katz brought over talent including Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson.
The UK creators unit has also recently signed names including William Hanson, Fin Taylor, Max Klymenko of The Career Ladder, Fallow Chefs, Jordan North, Vick Hope and Polyester, according to Deadline.
CAA’s creators roster in the United States includes KSI, Dharminder “Dhar” Mann and Jesser, the report said.
The agency’s latest hire points to continued investment in digital-first talent, where creators can move across video, live appearances, publishing, podcasts, brand deals and other business lines. Skinner’s brief at CAA will focus on that crossover, with representation and business advice sitting side by side.
CAA has not announced additional details about Skinner’s start date beyond her role in the London office, according to Deadline.
