Drew Brees wants Tom Brady and Logan Paul in a WWE ring
Drew Brees told TMZ Sports that Tom Brady and Logan Paul should book a WWE showdown as their public back-and-forth keeps rolling.

Drew Brees is ready to see Tom Brady trade the pocket for the squared circle.
The former New Orleans Saints quarterback told TMZ Sports in New York on Tuesday that he backs the idea of Brady facing Logan Paul in a WWE setting, after the pair’s public back-and-forth has kept building.
Asked about a possible wrestling showdown between the seven-time Super Bowl champion and Paul, Brees gave TMZ Sports a straight answer: “They should!” He added, “They should schedule that.”
TMZ Sports has reported that Brady is in discussions with WWE about some kind of appearance. The talks come as Brady and Paul have been needling each other for months, according to the outlet.
Some fans had viewed the tension as promotion tied to the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, which was in March, TMZ Sports reported. The chatter did not stop there.
According to TMZ Sports, Brady and Paul had two public run-ins over the past weekend. In one, video showed Brady appearing to slap Paul onstage at Fanatics Fest 2026. In another, Paul flipped off Brady after the Fanatics Fest moment, the outlet reported.
WWE names like the idea
Brees is not the only sports-world name giving the concept a thumbs-up.
TMZ Sports also spoke with WWE figures Mark Henry and Alexa Bliss, who both said they would like to see Brady get involved in the company’s world.
Henry described a Brady-Paul matchup to TMZ Sports as a “match made in heaven.” Bliss said she would enjoy seeing Brady learn what wrestlers put their bodies through to perform at a high level.
Bliss also joked to TMZ Sports that Brady could wind up in an arm brace like hers if he is not careful.
For WWE, celebrity appearances are hardly new territory. Bliss pointed to Paul and Bad Bunny as examples of stars from outside traditional wrestling who have been welcomed into WWE, according to TMZ Sports.
Brady’s next act keeps expanding
A WWE appearance would be another turn in Brady’s post-NFL public life, though TMZ Sports described the discussions only as talks for some sort of appearance, rather than a confirmed match.
Paul, meanwhile, already has WWE experience, which would make any Brady angle a crossover between football celebrity and a performer who has built a second lane in wrestling.
For now, the matchup remains a possibility being talked up by Brees, Henry and Bliss, with TMZ Sports reporting that Brady’s WWE conversations are underway.
