Kenzie Annis says she is not a Trump supporter after “Love Island USA” fans circulated unverified screenshots that sparked political chatter around the Season 8 contestant.
According to Variety, speculation began early in the season when members of the show’s fandom shared alleged images from Annis’ Instagram account showing her in front of Trump flags. The screenshots were unverified, and Annis addressed the claims directly during an Instagram livestream on Thursday.
“That’s so funny ‘cause I’m not a Trump supporter, so you guys can fuck the fuck off!” Annis said on the livestream, according to a clip shared online and cited by Variety. “Just because I’m blonde and white doesn’t mean I’m a fucking Trump supporter. What the hell?”
Is Kenzie Annis a Trump supporter?
Annis denied being a Trump supporter in her Instagram livestream. The rumors described by Variety were tied to unverified screenshots, and no verified political endorsement by Annis was reported.
Annis appeared on the most recent season of “Love Island USA,” Peacock’s dating competition that sends singles to Fiji and lets viewers vote on which couples stay in the villa. The audience also helps determine the winning couple, which receives a $100,000 prize, according to Variety.
Her time in the villa was busy. Variety reported that Annis began the season paired with Zach Georgiou, was later recoupled with Corbin Mims, then connected with Caleb McDaniel. After Casa Amor, she met Dylan Wrona.
Annis and Wrona were voted out shortly before finale night, ending their run on the show before the last episode of the season. Their connection, however, continued after filming.

Wrona announced on Instagram on Friday that he and Annis are now in a relationship. In the post, he wrote, “Getting to know you in the villa was unforgettable, but falling for you in the real world was all too easy. It didn’t take me long to realize there was no other way — I had to make you my girlfriend! And what better place to do it than on the top of NYC.”
The update comes as the Season 8 cast settles back into life off-camera after the Fiji run. Viewers will get another look at the Islanders when the official reunion episode airs Monday, Aug. 31, on Peacock at 6 p.m. PT and 9 p.m. ET, according to Variety.
For now, Annis has put one piece of fan speculation on the record herself: she says the Trump supporter label being attached to her online is wrong.
