Kim Delaney’s husband, James Morgan, was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after a Delta flight from Detroit, following alleged trouble in the air involving the former “NYPD Blue” actor and a crew member, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Morgan was arrested and booked Monday on suspicion of public intoxication after the plane landed in Los Angeles. The outlet reported that Morgan and Delaney had been traveling together on the Delta flight.
According to those law enforcement sources, Morgan and Delaney allegedly argued during the trip. TMZ also reported that Morgan was allegedly involved in a separate incident with a flight attendant during the same flight.
The outlet said it was not clear what started either alleged confrontation. TMZ did not report any injuries or say whether any charges beyond the public intoxication arrest were being pursued.
Delta confirmed to TMZ that police met the aircraft after it arrived in Los Angeles. The airline also said the flight itself was not disrupted operationally.
“Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first,” a Delta spokesperson told TMZ.
The airline did not describe the alleged onboard conduct in further detail in the statement reported by TMZ.
Police response at LAX
The arrest happened after the aircraft completed its route from Detroit to Los Angeles, according to TMZ’s report. Delta told the outlet there was no operational impact to the flight, meaning the plane’s arrival and airline operations were not reported as being affected by the alleged incidents.
TMZ did not report a public comment from Morgan. The outlet also did not report a comment from Delaney about the alleged argument or the arrest.
